Offering a blended safari experiences and Cultural heritages, Our 8Days Wildlife & Cultural Excursions offers the “ultimate Tanzania safari” through Tanzania’s most popular Northern Parks, From experiencing Hadzabe local and cultural ways of life around lake Eyasi in Karatu area to game view at Ngorongoro Conservation Area, serengeti national park, Manyara and Tarangire national park a park famous for having big herds of elephants, baobab trees and large number of animals around Tarangire river during dry season chasing for water.

Day 0: Pick up at Kilimanjaro and transfer to Arusha
Arrive Kilimanjaro International airport, after clearing custom and immigration formalities you will be met by your Guide and transfer to Arusha for Overnight.

Day1: Airport / Hotel – Lake Eyasi Cultural activities
Early morning after breakfast we will pick you up from your accommodation or Airport (depending on Arrival time) in Moshi/Arusha and we will head to Lake Eyasi passing through beautiful Maasai lands and villages on the way before arriving in the afternoon where you will have your hot lunch prepared at the Lodge then rest until tomorrow when you will have early morning cultural activities with Hadzabe tribe.

Day 2: Lake Eyasi Activities to Serengeti national park
Today Early morning around 0630hrs before breakfast we head off and meet the Hadzabe tribes where they will take you for a hunt and learn about hunting techniques also meet with the Datoga tribe before coming back to the Tindiga Lodge for breakfast and shower if necessary then proceed on safari to Serengeti national park on our safari vehicles passing through the beautiful farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro highlands to the Serengeti national park with our picnic lunch boxes, game drive en-route “The Central Serengeti offers superb game viewing all year round due to its abundance of resident animals. Specifically, the Seronera River Valley in the Central Serengeti is a ‘must-see’ on every safari regardless of the specific month of travel. Game viewing in Central Serengeti is at its best during the dry season (June – November) as resident animals are more concentrated in the immediate area due to the lack of water on the plains. Resident herbivores include impala, buffalo, hippo, warthog, topi, hartebeest, and giraffe. Resident carnivores include lion and leopard”.

Days 3, to 4: The Serengeti (two full days)
Now you get two full days to experience the Serengeti. Known to host one of the most amazing wildlife spectacles on earth – the great migration of wildebeest and zebra – the Serengeti’s vast plains are also home to a haven of other wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and many other predators. Two overnight stays in Serengeti National Park. This park is Suitable all-year-round with some specific months suitable for specific activities like in December to July to follow the wildebeest migration (either Ndutu or Mara River Crossing), June to October to see predators.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
Early morning game drives en route depart Serengeti national park to Ngorongoro Conservation area. We will stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution, late afternoon transfer to Rhino Lodge in Ngorongoro where you will have dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which includes lions, zebras, flocks of flamingos, elephants, giraffes just to mention a few. Ngorongoro is often referred as the eighth natural wonder, it has been listed as a UNESCO site which is considered the most beautiful and unique place in Africa where man and wildlife stays together in one area, We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. We will stop at a nice picnic area for our lunch break and thereafter we continue with game drive in the late afternoon while heading back to the Campsite and transfer to Mto wa mbu Village where we will spend an Overnight at Fanaka Campsite and lodge until next day when we will head for a half-day game drive in Lake Manyara national park.

Day7: Walking/ Biking excursion at Mto wa mbu village and game drive at Lake Manyara national park
The bustling farming community of Mto wa Mbu, located between Manyara and Ngorongoro, is home to around 18,000 people. Spend half a day here with a knowledgeable local guide and you’ll discover a side of Tanzania that many visitors miss. After breakfast at the campsite, Local guides will pick you ready for a village walking tour, your guide is very likely to be from the village itself so you will have a unique opportunity to see the community through his eyes. Tours last around 2–3 hours, but are very flexible. During your visit you’ll get a good feel for the social side of the village, you’ll likely start your tour at the rice plantations where you will get insights of how they grow them and you will be passed through different places and end at Local mama lunch places where you will have hot local lunch prepared there by them then your driver-guide will pick you from there to Lake Manyara national park for a late-game drive in the afternoon.

Day8: Half day game drive in Tarangire national park – Arusha – airport
Today After breakfast we leave early around 0700hrs heading to Tarangire national park for a half-day game drive before a late afternoon transfer back to Kilimanjaro International Airport via Arusha for optional shopping (if time allows) for your onward flight back home.
