Itinerary:
Day0: Arrival Day
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel accommodation for an overnight stay. Your professional safari guide will brief you during dinner on various aspects of your itinerary and activities for the next day.

Day 1: Mtowambu/Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Early morning after breakfast we will pick you up from your accommodation in Moshi/Arusha and we will head to Tarangire National Park, which is known for its huge baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Its sparse vegetation makes it a beautiful and special location, where up to 300 elephants can be found, looking for underground streams in the dry riverbeds at it best visiting time during the dry season between July to October. Migratory wildebeest, zebra and buffalo can also be seen crowding the shrinking lagoons. Here you will enjoy an afternoon game drive with a picnic lunch.

Day 2: Karatu – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we proceed to the endless Serengeti plains by way of the lush Ngorongoro Crater Highlands where fertile soils grow crops such as wheat, corn, and coffee. The name “Serengeti” comes from the Maasai word ‘siringeti’ which means “endless plains”. You will see why it’s called so once you see its ocean of grassland savannas stretching to the horizon as far as the eyes can see. The patterns of life, death, adaptation, and migration are as old as the hills themselves. Later in the evening, we drive to the camp for evening leisure and hot dinner.

Day 3: Full day Serengeti
After your breakfast, enjoy full day game drive around Serengeti , The Central Serengeti offers superb game viewing all year round due to its abundance of resident animals. Specifically, the Seronera River Valley in the Central Serengeti is a ‘must see’ on every safari regardless of the specific month of travel. Game viewing in Central Serengeti is at its best during the dry season (June – November) as resident animals are more concentrated in the immediate area due to the lack of water on the plains. Resident herbivores include impala, buffalo, hippo, warthog, topi, hartebeest and giraffe. Resident carnivores include lion and leopard.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater Rim Walk
After breakfast, depart with picnic lunch for a final game drive in Serengeti national park. After lunch, we will drive in the direction of the Ngorongoro Crater. As soon as you have reached the edge of the crater rim, the crater appears half a mile below, inviting you to gaze at this jaw dropping natural wonders. “Often called the eighth natural wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. About 2 million years ago the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, and its walls collapsed. The volcano floor sank to create a natural enclosure with its 600m tall walls. Now, at over 19 kilometers wide, Ngorongoro Crater is filled with great areas of acacia forest, hippo filled swamps and open grasslands. These different habitats contain over 30,000 animals – including elephants, warthogs, flamingoes, magnificent birdlife, the rare black rhinoceros and all the predatory cats. The Maasai can also be seen grazing their cattle alongside the buffalos, Zebras and wildebeest”. Here you will get out of the safari jeep to enjoy the view. Afterwards, you will proceed to the Camp for evening leisure and hot dinner.

Day 5: Full day game drive in Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which includes lions, zebras, flocks of flamingos, elephants, giraffes just to mention a few. Ngorongoro is often referred as the eighth natural wonder, it has been listed as a UNESCO site which is considered the most beautiful and unique place in Africa where man and wildlife stays together in one area, we will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. We will stop at a nice picnic area for our lunch break and there after we continue with game drive in the late afternoon while heading back to the Campsite and transfer to Mto wa Mbu Village where we will spend an Overnight at Twiga Campsite and lodge until next day when we will be looking to do either a full day cultural excursion in Mto wa Mbu Village or a half day cultural visit with hot local lunch and an afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara national park.

Day6: Full day game drive Lake Manyara national park
After breakfast, you will depart from the camp for a full day game drive in Lake Manyara national park “a park is well known for its spectacular tree climbing lions which spend most of their time spread out on the tree branches of acacias six to seven meters from the ground but also the park is well known for its tree climbing pythons. Alongside this park lies the Mto wa mbu “The river of mosquitoes” a small village which hosts almost all the tribes found in Tanzania believed to be more than 120 tribes dwelling in this small town conducting different activities including woodcarving, painting, and farming. After game drive in the evening, we will head back to the camp for an overnight stay and relaxation unit the next day.

Day7: Departure– Arusha – airport
Today You will have late breakfast and after breakfast your driver guide will be there to transfer you back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport via Arusha where you will have break time for lunch at nice restaurant and have time to do optional shopping (if time allows) for your onward flight back home. * Zanzibar add-ons are available if you wish to continue exploring Tanzania*
